STL Sharing a Moment is a movement designed to tap into your inner power to create meaningful moments for others. We all have times in our lives when we need someone. In times of crisis we may need tangible items such as food, clothing or shelter. But what about after our immediate needs have been met? What do we need then? We need each other! We simply need for someone to share their time, investing in our well-being. This project is about sowing seeds into lives of others. It's about being who you are and sharing that with others. It's about being fully present to someone who needs YOU. It's about sharing a little of your time and heart, to make a meaningful moment on someone's journey through life.
STL Sharing a Moment will collectively share at least 2000 hours with individuals connected to non-profit organizations. The diverse partnering organizations have been preselected. It's simple to join STL Sharing a Moment in making a lasting impact on the St. Louis Metropolitan area:
1. Commit to sharing 10 hours of your time before April 30, 2013.
2. Sign up for a 1 hour STL Sharing a Moment orientation.
