DESCRIPTION:The American Board\, a non-profit dedicated to recruiting and
  certifying community-based teachers in Missouri\, will host a public ev
 ent on how local residents can become certified Missouri teachers.\nAtte
 ndees will learn what to expect in a career as a teacher and receive adv
 isement on a personalized path to certification.\nMissouri Teacher Certi
 fication Specialist Rachel Pryor will lead the event. The event is free 
 and open to the public. Sessions begin at 4:30 pm and 6 pm at the Hampto
 n Inn\, 55 Dunn Road in Florissant.\n&ldquo\;Anyone with a bachelor&rsqu
 o\;s degree can become a full-time teacher within a year as long as they
  plan the right path.&rdquo\; Pryor said. &ldquo\;We are searching for p
 eople who have real-life experience and want to apply that experience in
