The Arianna String Quartet will present a special Good Friday performance of Joseph Haydn’s musical masterpiece “The Seven Last Words of Christ.”
The group, artists-in-residence at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, will perform at 7:30 p.m. March 29 at Unity Evangelical Lutheran Church, located at 8454 Glen Echo Drive in Bel-Nor, Mo. The concert is free and open to the public.
Sacred readings will be interspersed among the musical movements.

The Arianna String Quartet will perform at 8 p.m. Nov 2 at the Touhill Center at UMSL. Second violinist Julia Sakharova (second from right) will perform a benefit show Nov. 3 at the Ober Anderson Gallery in Kirkwood, Mo.
