Woman Charged With Hitting Woman with Car, Firing Shots in Ferguson

The North County woman also is accused of hitting a telephone pole in attempt to injure a man.

 

A North St. Louis County woman is being charged with hitting a woman with her car and firing shots at a man in Ferguson.

According to a St. Louis County Police report, Lawanda Bostic, 43, drove into a front yard in the 200 block of South Dade Drive in Ferguson, striking a woman and seriously injuring her.

She then drove at and struck a telephone pole a man was hiding behind, breaking it in two, the report reads. Bostic then got out of the car and fired shots at the man.

She is being charged with two counts of first degree assault, one count of second degree assault, three counts of armed criminal action and first degree property damage.

Bostic is from North County, just northeast of Florissant.
