Where to Recycle All Your Stuff in Florissant

Here is the Florissant guide to recycling.

Want to go green? Interested in recylcing? Well you're in luck.

The city of Florissant conducts recycling at the Florissant Recycling Center #1 St Ferdinand Park Drive. The Florissant Recycling Center is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. 

The center accepts the following:

  • Newspaper
  • Magazines
  • Office Paper
  • Cardboard
  • Phone Books
  • Aluminum
  • Glass
  • Plastics #1 through #7
  • Steel Cans

 

Items that can't be recycled include: 

  • Food waste
  • Used paper plates, towels and napkins 
  • Plastic bags (return these to grocery stores)
  • Plastic wrap
  • Stick-on labels
  • Stamp sheets and post-it notes
  • Styrofoam(eggcartons,foam drink cups,etc.)
  • Glass from windows, dinnerware or ceramics
