While the St. Louis area didn't get the brunt of the blizzard force on Tuesday, the sleet and ice brought to Florissant left a big cleanup job for crews. In addition, Wednesday's weather brings brutal winds that could have speeds as high as 30 miles per hour and temperatures below 20 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
On that note, several area schools have closed Wednesday, including:
