Theft and Fraud Lead to Prison
The United States Attorney’s Office announced the sentencing of a Florissant man to four and a half years in prison on the charges of aggravated identity theft and credit card fraud on Thursday.
Jarod Parker, 32, pled guilty in December to one felony charge of aggravated identity theft and another felony charge of access device fraud.
For two years, the attorney’s office said that Parker stole credit credits from several public places and events in St. Louis and St. Charles counties. More than 96 individuals and 26 businesses were affected by the thefts, and the crimes accrued more than $100,000 in losses.
