Triple-Digit Heat Returns to Florissant, St. Louis

The area will be under an excessive heat warning through Thursday.

 

The hot triple-digit temperatures of summer have returned to Florissant and St. Louis, and it looks to be around for most of the week.

According to the National Weather Service, the area will be under an excessive heat warning through Thursday evening. According to the weather service, the heat index will hover between 105 and 110 through each afternoon.

The City of Florissant opened the James J. Eagan Center and John F. Kennedy Center as cooling stations for residents.

In addition, the United Way has a list of cool places for residents to rest if needed.
