Should St. Louis Host the Democratic National Convention in 2016?
The Florissant Township committeewoman suggests that St. Louis will seek the bid in 2016.
While several Missouri delegates have been in awe of the close accommodations to the convention center in North Carolina, the thought of the 2016 election came into a play a bit.
Florissant Township Committeewoman Mary Elizabeth Dorsey said that there are plans underway for St. Louis to host the 2016 Democratic National Convention, according to an article in the St. Louis Beacon.
St. Louis was runner-up for the 2012 convention and lost out to Charlotte.
What do you think? Would you like to see St. Louis bid for the 2016 election?

Any time you can bring National attention to a city...why wouldn't it be supported? The economic advantage is a given. It makes do difference if it is a Republican Conference or Democrat...the out-come is a win, win for St. Louis.
