So, the St. Louis Cardinals clawed their way into the "real" playoffs with a win on Friday against the Atlanta Braves. Now, they play a best-of-five series against the National League East leading Washington Nationals.
The series starts in Busch Stadium on Sunday, at 2 p.m., and will be televised on TBS. The Redbirds play two at home before heading east for game three.
Adam Wainwright is scheduled to take the ball for the Redbirds against the Nationals' Giovany A. Gonzalez.
