Restaurant Inspections: Florissant KFC Needs Some More TLC

The famous fried chicken chain has a few issues, while the Locker Room has a fairly clear cut inspection.

 

We’re changing up our restaurant inspections a bit.

We've expanded our inspections to surrounding areas, including Creve Coeur, Maryland Heights and Hazelwood. 

Each week, Florissant Patch publishes information from the local restaurant inspections of St. Louis County Department of Health as well as their grade.

Kentucky Fried Chicken

Date of Inspection: Dec. 19
Type of Inspection: Routine

Grade: 92-A
Comments: Additional employees needed to be enrolled in food safety certification course so that the restaurant meets the one person per shift requirement; Hepatitis A records found incomplete; thermometers not seen in all coolers; door latch to freezer and walk-in cooler found broken; floor tiles damaged in areas.
*Follow-up inspection scheduled for Dec. 29.

Comments: Unlabeled chemical spray bottle found, no thermometer found in walk-in cooler, no mop sink found in restaurant
