What is this?

Formerly "Dining Debate," welcome to "Readers' Choice," a column aimed at sharing the best finds in our area: Florissant, Hazelwood and Maryland Heights.

This weekly feature invites you to nominate and vote on your favorite places for a variety of eats and treats, services, recreation, shopping and a host of other things.

How does it work?

You may be used to the two day voting period Dining Debate had, but Patch is now offering more time to get even more reader feedback.

Now, on Monday, we will ask you to tell us your favorite place for a certain topic.

This week we're looking for a great coffee shops. Whether you love a national chian or a local nook, nominate it in the comments section below.

You can submit your vote through Friday, May 18 at 5 p.m. 

Then what?

We will post your nominations in an article Monday, May 21 in the morning. Then it will be time to vote again—this time for the "Readers' Choice" champion.

Voting will continue through Thursday, May 24 at 5 p.m. We will announce the winner first thing Friday, May 25 just in time for your morning cup.
