Police Said Woman Robbed Convenience Store of $52
Police said the woman acted with another person. She showed the clerk a handgun, had her open the register, and they grabbed the cash.
A Florissant woman was charged with robbing the Circle K convenience store at 1545 South New Florissant Road at 2:55 a.m. July 14.
Tanisha Grayer, 21, of the 1000 block of Wooden Drive in Florissant, was charged July 17 with first-degree robbery.
Florissant Police said Grayer and another person displayed a handgun and told the store clerk to open the register. The clerk complied, and Grayer and the second person grabbed $52 in cash, according to the report.
The other person involved in the robbery is a juvenile, and his or her name will not be released, said Andy Haarman, a spokesman for Florissant Police.
Grayer is being held in St. Louis County Jail in lieu of a $25,000 bond.

Being charged with first-degree robbery is appropriate. Now, how about tacking on CONTRIBUTING TO THE DELINQUENCY OF A MINOR?

I believe the direction our city is going is down the tube! I'd like to see the corelation between low income housing and lots and lots of rentals and crime. I find it hard to believe there isn't a connection. So what if anything is Florissant doing? The police I have spoken to want to know why I haven't moved already.
