Police Ask for Public's Help to Identify Man Who Robbed Florissant Store Tuesday

A man who robbed a small store in Florissant Tuesday is on the loose and Florissant Police are asking residents to help bring him to justice.
JN Market, located at 1763 North New Florissant Rd., was robbed at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Florissant Police say a lone male suspect entered the store and jumped over the counter, wielding a silver-colored handgun.
The suspect then demanded that the store clerk give him all of the money in the cash register before he left on foot with an undetermined amount of money.
No one was injured during the incident, police said.
The suspect is described as a black male, mid 20’s, approximately six feet tall. Police say he either has “shaggy afro-style hair” or was wearing a wig. The suspect was wearing a dark colored coat with a hood and gray colored gloves.

Stronger gun punishment for little thugs like this. 30 years mandatory sentence....period......if we need more jails I'd be happy for a 1 cent sales tax increase to build whatever we need
