Last week, the Northwest Healthcare Center celebrated its medical office building and emergency room expansion.

Bret Berigan, manager of public relations and internal communications for Christian Hospital, said more than 600 people from Florissant and across the North County area came out to tour the new facilities.

In addition, residents had the option to get screenings done, such as cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure and lung function.
