North County Insurance Agent Sentenced to 3 Years in Prison

Wendi Ann Glass will serve three years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of fraud, forgery and stealing.

A former North County insurance broker was recently sentenced to three years in prison for insurance fraud, according to a St. Louis Post-Dispatch article.

Wendi Ann Glass pleaded guilty to charges of stealing, forgery, commission of fraudulent insurance act and attempted stealing April 1, according to the article. Her insurance license had been revoked since 2011, but she continued to run her business and sell insurance to residents of Florissant and St. Louis County.

The St. Louis Better Business Bureau gave the company a grade of F for its eight complaints received against VMG for three years.

She and her company had also been sued a number of times for breach of contract.

Glass received three years for each count, which will be run concurrently, according to the article.
