No Damage or Injuries Reported from Friday's Storm

Florissant remains unscathed from storms that rocked the airport and several St. Louis County neighborhoods.

Despite high winds and severe thunderstorms throughout the area, Florissant did not sustain any damage from the Friday night storms.

The Florissant Police Department Dispatch Center said no reports of damage or injuries have been reported from residents. However, power outages have been a problem.

According to Ameren Missouri’s Outage Map, less than 100 residents remain without power as of this morning.

On Saturday morning, a drive throughout the city of Florissant showed businesses and residents continuing their day after a night of tumultuous storms.

This stands in stark contrast to the storms that affected the Maryland Heights area as well as Lambert International Airport. The airport remains closed at this time.

Grateful it was not worse here, and thinking of our neighbors in Maryland Heights, Berkley and Bridgeton.
