Man Attempted Strong-Arm Robbery at Florissant Jewelry Store

Florissant Police said the man knocked down one person and struggled with another in the shop on North Highway 67.

 

A man forcibly stole jewelry from a Florissant shop on North Highway 67 on Monday, police said.

William J. Raymond, 37, of the 3500 block of Boylston Court in Overland, was charged Tuesday with second-degree robbery.

Florissant Police said Raymond took some jewelry from A & A Jewelry and Repair, 748 North Highway 67. He then knocked down one person working at the store and struggled with another, according to court documents.

Raymond is being held in St. Louis County jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
