Man Shot at Hair Salon Near Florissant
St. Louis County officers arrested a man in St. Louis City following a short chase.
One man was shot Monday afternoon at a north St. Louis County hair salon, according to KSDK.
St. Louis County Police spokesman Randy Vaughn said that a man was shot in 314 Hair Gallery Salon in the 11700 block of West Florissant. A man was seen leaving the scene in a white Chevy Malibu, and St. Louis County police officers pursued him.
Police apprehended the man in the 3500 block of Cora Avenue in St. Louis, Vaughn said. No other information on the man has been released currently.
The man who was shot was taken to DePaul Hospital. His condition remains unknown.
Last month, 314 Hair Gallery Salon owner Jerron Benson was being sought by police for possibly being involved in an assault on a man in the salon's parking lot. Lagrand Benson, 54, of the 12500 block of Shoreside Drive in North County, who is Jerron's Father, was charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action.

A hair salon! Someone gets shot at a hair salon. This is ridiculous and bizarre. The ladies can't even get their hair done without a shoot-out. This is our neighborhood; this is our life; DO NOT LET IT BE SMALL!
