Starting Thursday, Florissant Patch will run a new weekly feature called Patch Picks, highlighting editor and reader picks of great local businesses, destinations, services, organizations, ways to spend a day off and more. 

You’ll find useful lists to help you, your family, friend, and significant others find the best places for everything from Sunday brunch to New Year’s Eve celebrations, pumpkin patches, date night destinations, florists, girlfriend nights out, kids party places, parks and more.

The List: Super Bowl Crawl

• Mattingly’s Sports Bar: The bar will offer $13.50 buckets of beer with $.35 wings to enjoy while watching the game on one of their 10 TVs located throughout the restaurant, bar and enclosed patio.
• Deaver’s Restaurant and Sports Bar: Deaver's will offer $14 buckets and $6 pitchers of beer. For those looking for a little food to go along with the game, they will be serving all appetizers at half-price.
• Gettemeier’s Bar and Grill: Situated at 1740 Thunderbird, they will serve $.39 wings and $3.09 nachos to be washed down with $14 buckets of beer. And with six high-definition televisions, every seat will have a great view of the game.
• The Junkyard Bar and Grill: The bar and grill will host Reggie D. and his team The Newsletter 2005 for their Super Bowl XLV party. Doors open at 5 p.m. with festivities starting at 5:30 p.m. There will be a $5 cover charge at the door, but a variety of specials will be featured for the big game, including $.50 wings, $5 pitchers of beer and Moscato and the opportunity to watch the game on their huge projector screen.
• Ruiz Mexican Restaurant: Ruiz offers their authentic Mexican cuisine to dine on through the game. Their specials range from $4 for three tacos or burritos or $6 for a pound of wings. Drink specials are buckets of beer for $10 and specialty bomb shots for $3 each.
