With a number of transitions continuing in the Hazelwood School District, the board of education approved a few other recommendations during Tuesday night’s meeting.

Crystal Reiter will serve as interim assistant superintendent for learning, replacing Grayling Tobias who was named interim superintendent last week.

Shanon Drennan will be interim principal at Garrett Elementary School, where Retirer served as principal for the past 10 years.

In addition, Destiny Reddick will become the interim instructional specialst at Garrett Elementary School.

Friday, the board of education announced its decision to part ways from Superintendent Steve Price and appoint Tobias as the interim superintendent.
