Grand Jury Indicts Man Arrested for Florissant Police Officer Shooting
Brian Cannon has been charged with assault of an officer, burglary and armed criminal action.
Brian Lamont Cannon Jr, 20, has been indicted and charged with assault in the first-degree of a law enforcement officer, armed criminal action and second-degree burglary.

The grand jury indicted Cannon on charges of assault of the officer, burglary, and two counts of armed criminal action.
His arraignment has been set for Wednesday, according to Casenet.
Officer Vernon has continued to recover from his wounds, and the community has shown an outpouring of support through fundraisers and letters.

had a gun and it was a cell phone what about that?they shot him 28 times it only takes once to kill someone and he made a mistake he knows that. no one deserves to be put away for good he does have a family also the same as everyone else and every one is losing in this situation its hard and sad all the way around

I don't get it, yall arguing about somebody that's locked up and probably going to be an old ass man when he get's out. Ladies please find something else to do with your time besides arguing on this website. Damn. Anyway, he should be locked up this mess is getting out of hand, he shoots and an officer or anyone else he feels like shooting. And if what you say is true about his friend about him getting shot 28 times then i'm sure there was an investigation and no one liked the outcome i'm betting.
