Former St. Rose Philippine Duchesne Pastor Dies
Rev. Gerald T. Nienhaus will have services Wednesday morning.
The Rev. Gerald T. Nienhaus died Aug. 17, 2012, after a brief illness, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. He was 77.

After ordination in 1962, Rev. Nienhaus started his service as assistant pastor of St. Gregory Parish in St. Ann.
He went on to serve at Our Lady of Lourdes in University City, North American Martyrs in Florissant, St. Rose Philippine Duchesne in Florissant and Incarnate Word in Chesterfield among others. He retired a few years ago.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Ascension Catholic Church, with a funeral Mass to follow at 11 a.m.
