Florissant Teen Helped Burglarize Neighbor's Home, Police Say

Florissant Police said Cody Garcia-Mauer acted as a lookout as another person broke into the home

An 18-year-old Florissant man faces criminal charges after police said he participated in a burglary at his neighborโ€™s home March 15.

Cody Garcia-Mauer, 18, of the 2100 block of Crane Drive in Florissant, was charged Wednesday with second-degree burglary and misdemeanor stealing.

Florissant Police said Garcia-Mauer acted as a lookout as another person broke into a house in the 2100 block of Crane Drive near Garcia-Mauerโ€™s home on March 15. Police said a television and other items were stolen.

Garcia-Mauer was being held Thursday in Florissant jail. Bail was set at $15,000.
