Florissant Resident Avoids Injury in I-55 Car Accident

A Florissant woman didn't receive any injuries in a car accident on Interstate 55.

A Florissant resident was involved in a car crash Friday evening on Interstate 55, south of Route M.
A 2007 Dodge Durango was headed North on I-55 when the driver lost control due to the wet road and hit a cable median, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Bethany Allen, of Florissant, drove a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban, which was going in the opposite direction on south I-55, and was hit by rocks from the Durango. Minor damage was done to Allen’s car, according to the report.
A passenger of the Durango was taken to Jefferson Regional Medical Center for minor injuries. All wore seat belts, according to the report.
