The Florissant Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval for two items during Monday night’s meeting.
The commission unanimously approved a new Internet café to come into Florissant and the expansion of Cross Keys Auto making for a speedy meeting.
The Spot Café would be located at 1772 Thunderbird and would feature Wi-Fi access, computer access and video games. The café would also feature prepackaged food for its customers. The café’s special permit request will now go to the Florissant City Council in a few weeks.
Architect Joe Dale presented plans on behalf of Cross Keys Auto to make an addition onto the existing building for more sales offices.
The special use permit request for a night club, which is the first since the passage of the cocktail lounge, nightclub ordinance, was continued until the April 2 meeting. The commission also continued its review of the historic business district.
