I have always advocated for Florissant still being safe to me, until this past week! I know this incident was isolated and domestic, but where's the report on the gang related incident that happened @ Applebees this week and over by Thompson, or the shooting off Humes. Hate to say, but I'm starting to feel we are now, gang infested, and there's no turning back! Praying LOwery doesn't put up w/this as police chief but time will tell, until then a short sale sounds great for us!!

Curtis said he did not know why he shoot his wife. This and the recent killings with guns has made me wonder if I want to exercise my right to own a gun. This convinces me that my choice not to buy a gun was the right one. My only need for a gun is protection from a burglar. I can get this protection from the Florissant police. In fact, the police can respond to my 911 call sooner than it would take me to find my gun. :-)

Another fine family living in Florissant. Pretty soon you'll have to be careful sitting in your house in case a bullet comes through. Get your act together Florissant government and police before the turns totally to crap. I know for sure I'll sell if this continues. I don't feel safe here even during the day.

I have to say there has been a definite downturn over the past few years. The thugs and gangs are moving in, and it seems as if nobody is telling them they are not welcome. The police can do their part, but the judges cannot let them off with probation. Put these people in PRISON. They are not fit to be part of society. Mayor, please, invest in the police force. Judges, please, start handing out harsh sentences. These are the people between the citizens who really don't want to leave and the pathetic excuses for human beings that are moving in when people flee to St. Charles where they're safe. You can buy meth on every corner there, but that's different I suppose.
