Florissant Man Burglarized Church, Home and Business, Police Say

Florissant, St. Louis County Police said the man stole computers, golf clubs, cash and a car.

A Florissant man faces criminal charges for three burglaries and a car theft for breaking into a business, a house and a church.

Jermaine Williamson, 26, of the 100 block of Brower Lane in Florissant, was charged Jan. 30 with two counts of second-degree burglary, felony theft and stealing a car. He also was charged Jan. 31 with second-degree burglary and felony theft.

Florissant Police said Williamson broke into GMT Auto Sales in the 200 block of North Highway 67 in Florissant at about 4:50 p.m. Jan. 3 and took keys to a 2011 Chevrolet Impala. He then located the car and stole it, police said.

Police said he broke into a home Jan. 19 in the 300 block of St. Charles Street in Florissant, and stole three laptops and a set of golf clubs. Florissant Police said he acted with a second person.

St. Louis County Police said Williamson entered the Church of the Nazarene at 11875 Benham Road in North County between 1:30 p.m. Jan. 24 and 2:07 p.m. Jan. 25. He stole a computer system and $908 in cash, according to the police report.

Williamson was being held Tuesday in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $40,000 for the Florissant charges. Bail was set at $40,000, cash only for the St. Louis County charges.
