Florissant Hosts Second Electronics Recycling Drive for 2012
Residents can bring their electronics and appliances big and small Saturday to be recycled.
Saturday, Florissant residents have a second opportunity to recycle their electronic goods as the city hosts another electronics recycling drive.
From 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., members of MERS Goodwill will assist residents in recycling their electronics in St. Ferdinand Park.
Residents must have their Florissant residency card, a utility bill or a driver’s license in order to participate in the collection.
Acceptable items to be donated, include:
- Computers and/or computer accessories
- Networking and telecommunications equipment
- Cell or home phones
- Clocks
- Televisions
- VCRs or DVD players
- Stereos
- A/V Equipment
- Home electronics and appliances
