Florissant Councilors Could Decide on Walmart Development Tonight

The Council has its second and final vote on the agenda tonight.

Monday night, Florissant City Council will hold its second and final vote on the Walmart development project at 3350 and 3400 N. Highway 67 and 3605 Seville.

During its April 9 meeting, the councilors amended the Walmart development project to include a number of requirements, including:

  • New sidewalk and curb ramps, which has been shown in presented drawings
  • A traffic signal warning light
  • Provide Lindbergh Plaza, which sits across from the proposed site, with signalized access as well as cross access and a right-in, right-out curb cut from Lindbergh.

Following the amendments, the Council voted to postpone the bill until this meeting.

The bill will need a simple majority in order to pass the bill. The council meeting will take place at Florissant City Hall at 7 p.m.

We’ll follow the vote and update readers Tuesday morning.
