Florissant City Council Votes on Developer, Funding Appropriations

The council will discuss a number of items during Monday night's meeting.

While the Florissant City Council will vote on two big business-related items Monday night, the council also has a laundry list of first readings to hear, which mostly relate to funding transfers.

The council will take a final vote on N3 Retail Developers to become the preferred developer for the Plaza Madrid Center as well as making changes to the city’s tax increment financing (TIF) ordinance to come into compliance with the state’s laws.

There will also be a number of ordinances considering fund transfers, including a $100,000 appropriation for overtime for the police department and a $153,000 appropriation from park improvement to capital additions for the repair of parking lots and driveways of parks.

For a copy of the full agenda, check out the City of Florissant's website.

The Florissant City Council meeting will be held at Florissant City Hall at Monday night at 7 p.m.
