If you think your Florissant home has beautiful qualities, then you might want to submit it for an award.

The City of Florissant is hosting its Beautiful Home Awards, which recognizes area homeowners for taking pride in their home and community.

There will be one winner selected from each ward for a total of nine awards handed out this year. Previous winners cannot submit another entry until after a three-year period has passed.

The homeowner can nominate their home or another home in the city. The home must be “an owner-occupied single family dwelling,” according to the contest announcement.

The nomination form and photo can be submitted to the Community Development Office. The deadline is May 25. Forms can be found on the city’s website.
