Teachers will receive a 3.64 percent pay raise for next school year.
The Ferguson-Florissant Board of Education approved the teachers' contracts for the next school year Wednesday night.
The board agreed to a 3.64 percent pay increase for teachers during the 2012-13 school year.
Administrators and the Ferguson-Florissant National Education Association (NEA) negotiated the contract earlier this year and came to an agreement at the end of March. The Ferguson-Florissant NEA agreed April 2.
According to the district, the beginning salary for 2012-13 will be $38,063 compared to $37, 648 this year. For the ending salary, it will be $78,122 for the next school year. These salaries are for more than 850 teachers in the district.
