Explaining the Election
As a hot topic around town, how much are children understanding about the Florissant election?
For the past two months, the April 5 election has been the topic of speculation and debate amongst city residents.
Facing the election of a new mayor and a new city councilman, amongst a sea of other fields, the election has a lot of people asking a lot of questions. It certainly has been a popular topic on Florissant Patch, and we're bringing it into the fold of this week's Moms Talk.
This week's question is:
Have you started a conversation with your children regarding the municipal election? What are you discussing, and how are you doing it?
As always, feel free to chime in your thoughts and concerns regarding the topic.

Most of my children are young adults but a friend of my son is visiting us this week from CA. She was amused by all the political signs everywhere.
I must say, that I am glad I found your website about a week ago and was able to catch the debate on the local channel about the same time. Before then I had no clue who these people were. I am a bit more informed now and can vote with confidence.
