Deaver's Gets the Nod From Florissant Customers
Florissant Patch readers and users from other restaurant review sites weigh in on Deaver's Sports Bar and Restaurant.
When it comes to finding a place to grab a drink and eat a burger, Deaver's Sports Bar in Florissant seems to satisfy most customers who have already been there.
Florissant Patch recently took a look at the restaurant's reviews on sites such as Yelp and Urban Spoon. Most were happy to have found or come back to Deaver's Sports Bar and Restaurant, which is located at 2109 Charbonier Rd.
Most had great things to say about the restaurant.
"We have been looking for a good neighborhood bar where we feel comfortable for some time. Deaver's definitely fits the bill," said Nicholas G. on Yelp. "I really like their burgers, Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich, fries, and salads. Their beers are always cold and their mixed drinks are well made ... Overall, it's a great neighborhood bar and grill. The bar section tends to get a bit rowdy in the evenings and weekends while the dining room tends to be more families with and without kids and large groups."
"Great value for what you pay for here," said Leslie S. on Yelp. "I had the regular cheeseburger with fries and shared an appetizer of breaded buffalo wings. The burgers are large, beefy burgers - too big for me; I had to take 1/2 of it home. The wings were large, so you get your money's worth there. You get quite a few fries, and the seasoning was particularly good. Onion rings are gigantic. Nice, clean location and our server was awesome and welcoming, recognizing it was our first time here. We will be back."
Negative reviews were few and far between.
"Every other time since the first time has been a huge disappointment," said Stacey S. on Yelp. "I think it's kind of sad considering this has been a well known local establishment that seems to have just gone downhill."
Deaver's has been open for nearly a decade. It's full menu is available on their website.
