Cornerstone Bakery Opens Its Doors to Florissant Community
The bakery boasts an array of breads, cakes and pastries along the Lindbergh business strip.
Wedged between Little Caesars and Dr. Kevin McClain’s Chiropractic office on Lindbergh sits a new bakery for the Florissant area.
Thursday morning, the City of Florissant and the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand opening celebration of Cornerstone Bakery, 2636 N. Highway 67.
The international bakery previously opened its doors two years ago in St. Ann, but decided to move to Florissant for its growing community and business culture, according to owner Mokeer Yisrael.
Yisrael and his co-owner Tisa Dallas serve an assortment of pastries, breads and cakes that he said are wholesome and fresh baked daily.
Ward 6 Councilman Pat Stinnett, who was present at the grand opening, said that the bakery is another fine example of local business coming to Florissant.
“Our local businesses are the backbone of the community, and I think this establishment and other businesses showcase that,” he said.
Cornerstone Bakery is open everyday except Sunday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
