Construction Work Begins on Patterson Road Improvements
The roadwork will add a right-turn lane, storm sewers and a sidewalk.
An arterial road in Florissant is undergoing a bit of a transformation thanks to St. Louis County.
This past week, St. Louis County Department of Highways and Traffic began construction work on Patterson Road, from Sally Lane to the entrance of the McDonald’s north on North Lindbergh, to add a right-turn lane to the west side of the roadway.
Funded by federal and St. Louis County funds, the project will ease congestion as well as add storm sewers, concrete sidewalk and ADA-compliant sidewalk ramps, according to a City of Florissant press release.
The work on the road will take place usually during the week from 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., and lane restrictions will be applied.
The project is scheduled to be complete at the end of June.
