As the economy has continued to try and regain momentum, the job industry has struggled to get back on its feet.

That doesn’t exclude North County, but we’re hoping to change that by featuring a job or two each week that folks should know.

Job: Florissant Police Corrections Officer
Who’s Hiring: Florissant Police Department
Qualifications: According to the website, “No felony or serious misdemeanor record; minimum age of 21.  High school diploma or GED required, with prior corrections work highly desired.”

Job: Part-time Building Inspector
Who’s Hiring: City of Florissant
Qualifications: According to the posting, “Applicant must have graduated from High School, or equivalent.  Three years experience and progressive responsibility in construction, building trades and code enforcement are preferred. Advanced formal training in the locally enforced building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire codes is desirable.”
