Black Jack Man Intended to Sell Heroin, Police Say

St. Louis County Police pulled the man over in June on a traffic stop and found he had heroin.

A Black Jack man faces criminal charges after police said he had heroin during a traffic stop in June.

Tamaroff J. Yeager, 30, of the 12700 block of Broadridge in Black Jack, was charged Friday with intent to sell heroin.

St. Louis County Police said they pulled Yeager over for a traffic violation at 12:30 a.m. June 12 near Jacobi Avenue in unincorporated North County east of Dellwood.

A computer check showed Yeager had outstanding warrants for his arrest. During a search, officers said they found a gray, rock-like substance and capsules filled with off-white powder. Lab analysis confirmed the items were heroin.

Bond for Yeager was set at $25,000.
