The Shrine of Old St. Ferdinand in Old Town Florissant recently received a very generous gift of $2,000 from the faculty and staff of the Academy of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans.

Many of the faculty/staff toured Old St. Ferdinand Shrine in June when they were at the Academy of the Sacred Heart in St. Charles for a meeting of the Network of Sacred Heart Schools, St. Philippine Duchesne's legacy in America. They were so impressed with the Shrine that they wanted to make a donation to help with its preservation.
